Violeta
and Djuna:
Violeta is an ex-hippie, exotic and esoteric. Spent the 80's living in
alternative communities and solves all issues through meditation, massage
and astro-maps. Quite unlike her wife, realistic and full-of-attitude
Djuna!! Together, they've set up a celebrated restaurant at the heart of
the town's gay area (no wonder...). Violeta's menu, as she panics at the
very sight of meat, is strictly veggie. |

|
Oscar and
Fran
first met at a gym! Fran would teach aerobics while Oscar tried to lose his
belly. Fran is the househusband (of both houses!) because, as the Funny
Family's List-of-Commandments reads, "Kids must be VERY closely looked
after"(!?). But Oscar, who has a stressful routine at the office and who is
now an enthusiast of the Bear aesthetics, well... he no longer tries to
lose his belly... |
|
The Kids
Curious to
know who's child of whom? Well, you may find that out but... don't ever
mention it before the Family!! That same List-of-Commandments also
reads "THEY'RE ALL CHILDREN OF US ALL", and they go berzerk if you don't
get that... |
|
 |
Zep
Born to the sound of Led Zeppelin in a neo-hippie-community, Zep is now 15
and, as Violeta says, "was kinda solo-production, got that?" Zep is zen
and won't get stressed with anything... except for some skate competition
and school dates. |
|
 |
Aymara
is 11 and used to be (only) Oscar's adoptive daughter. Carrying in her
blood the indefectible indigenous wisdom of life, Aymara is a TOTEM! Her
ultra-sensible opinion may be ultra-embarassing within a family so full of
ultra-good-intentions... |
|
 |
Cisco
is 8 and is the family's 'joint production'. He's son of long-time-friends
Violeta and Fran (but without 'those intimacies', as Djuna will promptly
joke... ). Cisco is intelligent, impulsive and hyper-active; what at times
can really MESS UP the peaceful life of the Family... |
|
The Pets
OK,
one last quote from that List-of- Commandments: "THEY'RE ALL PETS OF US
ALL" |
|

|
Romeo and
Sapho,
a dog and
a pussycat. He lazy and easygoing, she smart and seductive. Sapho's got
no doubt about the superior intelligence of cats, but Romeo... well Romeo
won't give a damn to it... But they live in perfect harmony despite the
odd jealousy crises. |
